Once the site for the new crematorium was ready for building, the following facilities were installed or built: water supply, lighting, a sitting area and a storage room for wood.
The previous crematorium was not easily accessible so a tarmac road was laid down; starting from the sports ground entrance and leading all the way to the crematorium area.
The new crematorium was opened in March 2012 with the first cremation taking place on the 28th March 2012.
The crematorium is free to use and is funded and maintained exclusively through donations. It is also available to neighbouring villages to use.
The new crematorium and its facilities have received a lot of praise from neighbouring villages.
